Guy A. Forster-Pearce

is a Stage 4 Undergraduate Student reading English and American Literature and Creative Writing with a Year in Journalism at The University of Kent in Canterbury (UKC).

With a disability he is oftentimes able to ‘hide’, Guy finds himself at the intersection of identities that once afforded him great shame. Having matured to accept these truths of his existence; his poetry speaks to the one-time closeted and internally able-phobic self he knew, by now passionately protecting and advancing the civil rights of queer and disabled communities. He is committed to uplifting those less fortunate, able and confident through his poetic praxis.
